NJPAC Spotlight Gala | 2003

Program Book
Client: New Jersey Performing Arts Center, NJ
Cover and Spread Page
9 x 11 inch closed; 18 x 11 inch spread
2 color on cover; CMYK + Gold metallic ink inside

This gala event was organized as fund-raising event for The New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The visual concept came from gala decoration idea of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. So for the cover, I implemented a gold dragon element on red background and treated the typography in an abstract combination of: spotlight, Trajan font (I saw this font in most of Hollywood posters), and chopsticks. This visual treatment carries through inside pages.
