Liesna Sulistiowati Shaw, yang berlatar belakang Desain Komunikasi Visual memantapkan diri dengan menjadi dosen (tidak tetap) di Universitas Pelita Harapan sejak tahun 2002, sebelum akhirnya membuka sanggar lukis dan gambar untuk anak-anak Marvellous Little Maestro (MLM), pada tahun 2009. MLM ini didirikan untuk anak-anak (dari usia 2,5 – 12 tahun) supaya dapat dengan bebas berkreasi secara visual. Dengan mengajarkan berbagai macam media, di MLM anak-anak dapat mengekspresikan diri dalam bentuk gambar, ilustrasi maupun lukisan. Adapun kelas-kelas yang ditawarkan antara lain Arts & Crafts, Cool Characters, Drawing & Painting with Acrylic & Watercolor dan Fun Batik! Liesna ingin memajukan kreativitas anak-anak Indonesia secara visual dengan pemahaman global tanpa meninggalkan jati diri anak-anak sebagai anak Indonesia. Liesna juga aktif memberikan tips dan info seputar kreativitas anak-anak pada akun Twitternya @LiesnaShaw dalam #LittleMaestro.
