Pada tanggal 12 dan 13 Januari 2012 berlangsung penjurian SCOPA Award 2012 di Club House, Damai Indah Golf, Serpong oleh juri-juri: Sakti Makki, Ignatius Hermawan Tanzil, Arief ‘Ayip’ Budiman, Andi S Boediman dan Hanny Kardinata terhadap 6 kategori award: Promotion Tools (Brochure/Flyer/Leaflet/Newsletter), Corporate Communication (Company Profile/Annual Report), Corporate Identity (Letterhead/Envelope/Name Card), Annuals (Diary/Agenda/Calendar), Cards (Corporate Invitation Card/Greeting Card), Conceptual (khusus untuk mahasiswa).
Pemenang SCOPA Award diumumkan dalam SCOPA Award Night pada tanggal 19 Januari 2012 di Upper Room Jakarta, Jl. MH Thamrin 59, Jakarta (khusus untuk undangan).

Hanny Kardinata
Lulusan Graphic Design dari ASRI yang sekarang ISI (The Art Institute of Indonesia) Yogyakarta, juga Pendiri sekaligus Ketua DGI (Desain Grafis Indonesia) dan Ketua Indonesian Graphic Design Award (IGDA). Banyak prestasi dan award yang telah diterimanya seperti “Creativity Award” dari Creativity International Awards, New York, USA, pada tahun 1987 dan beberapa award lainnya baik nasional maupun internasional.
Hanny Kardinata telah sering menjadi juri kompetisi, termasuk untuk SCOPA 1995 dan SCOPA 2003.

Ayip Arief Budiman
Merupakan “The Strategic Thinkers & Planners”, lulusan Universitas Udayana dan ISI Denpasar di Fakultas Desain dengan jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual. Semenjak 1991 mendirikan Matamera Communications, sebuah creative agency yang masih dikelolanya di Bali bersama teman-teman hingga saat ini.
Tahun 2008 menerbitkan buku visual pertamanya ”I see Indonesia” yang menandai 100 tahun Kebangkitan Nasional Indonesia. Bersama teman kreatifnya mendirikan Bali Creative Community 2008. Menjadi duta kreatif pada Bangkok Design Festival 2008 dan 2009, KL Design Week 2010, dan Creative Entrepreneurs Network Asia Pacific di Thailand 2009.

Andi S. Boediman
Pendiri IDS | International Design School, is a partner at Ideosource, an incubator for digital companies. He was a former Chief Innovation Officer of Plasa.com – a subsidiary of Telkom in the area of content and ecommerce. He is successfully bringing eBay and Microsoft as being the most crucial and most important partnerships for Plasa.com. As the key strategist, his responsibility is to lead in building the company foundation, from envisioning the road map, creating the business model and setting up the team to build the company from ground up.
With 12 years of experience as a creative entrepreneur, Andi S. Boediman successfully founded IDS | International Design School. He is also the founding committee of FGDforum, a non profit organization in graphic arts including packaging, promotion and publishing. Its biannual event, FGDexpo, has been attended by more than 50 thousands visitors and has become the biggest graphic arts exhibition in Southeast Asia. His prior experience including graphic designer, animator, web designer, and digital imaging artist.

Ignatius Hermawan Tanzil
Lulusan California College of the Arts & Crafts dan pernah bekerja di beberapa perusahaan di luar negeri seperti Jepang dan Amerika sejak tahun 1983 sampai 1990 ini adalah pendiri LeBoYe, sebuah perusahaan Desain Grafis terkemuka di Indonesia.
Selama berkarya hingga kini, beberapakali memenangkan lomba desain berskala internasional dan nasional seperti: Type Director Club Tokyo award of typography excellence for Corporate Identity tahun 2007; Type Director Club New York award of typography excellence for invitation pada tahun 2007; How International Design Award, awards of merit for Poster, Amerika Serikat, tahun 2007; Communication Arts Annual Design Competition, award for design excellence for packaging, Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2006; Adi Karya Desain Indonesia, the Best Corporate Identity dan the Best Poster, Indonesia 2003; IAI award, Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia 99, penghargaan untuk Gedung Komersil Terbaik periode 1999 – 2002; nominasi AGA Khan Award untuk arsitektur pada tahun 2007; dan masih banyak lagi.

AS, kemudian dilanjutkan dibeberapa kota di Amerika Serikat, Kanada, Jerman dan Tokyo pada tahun 2007; How’s Design Conference 2007 di Atlanta, AS; Petasan Grafis di Galeri Nasional Indonesia, Indonesia 2007; How’s Design Conference 2006 di Las Vegas, AS; FDGI Expo – Light of Hope for Indonesia, Indonesia Sept. 2005; dan masih banyak lagi.
Disela-sela kesibukannya, menyempatkan waktu untuk turut menyumbang ide dan pikiran bagi kemajuan industri desain, khususnya grafis melalui Adgi. Komitmen ini dibuktikan pada keikutsertaannya dalam perumusan Adgi yang baru, serta kesediannya untuk duduk sebagai salah satu anggota Presidium Adgi. Selain berkarya dan aktif diorganisasi, Hermawan juga aktif di dunia pendidikan sebagai dosen di beberapa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia.

Sakti Makki
His first working experience was in Kawasaki Motors Corporation, Irvine, California, where he served as the lead product designer and model maker for various jet skis and hybrid motorcycles design projects for the American market. Parallel to Kawasaki, he was also responsible for developing hospital heart monitoring devices for a hospital product distribution company In Southern California.
Within the same year he together with his wife, who specializes in Graphics and Packaging, co-founded MakkiMakki Communications in 1991 with product design, combined with graphics and packaging, as the focus of the business and have been involved in developing, nurturing and growing the business ever since.
In 1992 MakkiMakki moved its headquarter to Jakarta, Indonesia to capture a more prospective market in Indonesia and had the opportunity to be responsible for creating and developing various national, regional and multinational brand and branding programs for national and multinational companies such as Unilever Indonesia, British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Frisian Flag, Matahari Putra Prima, Sampoerna, Hero Supermarket, HongKong Shanghai Bank, Mercedes-Benz, DaimlerChrysler, Kimia Farma, PermataBank, CenturyBank, Bank BTPN, Bank Mandiri, Garuda Indonesia, Aerowisata International, The Tempo Group and many others, and won a number of awards for various design competitions in the last 15 years.
One of his major accomplishments in the industrial design field was in 1993 when he had the opportunity and trust to assist Larry Shinoda, the Godfather” of automobile designers in America who was invited to conduct a 2-weeks, Automotive Styling” seminar for Astra International’s automotive designers in Jakarta, to provide a hands-on learning experience in designing automotive products and clay modeling.
Being the pioneer in the field of brand and branding in Indonesia, Sakti had been frequently invited by many companies to share his views, insights and experiences about brand and branding. Amongst them are Unilever Indonesia (Unilever’s Regional Marketing Course in 2002), Tempo Group, Indofarma, Artajasa, Recapital, GrandKemang Hotel, Bank BTPN and CenturyBank) and many other business and brand-and-branding-related forums. Just recently, in January 2007, he made a contributing presentation to UNESCO’s Power of Peace forum in Jimbaran, Bali, on the topic of UNESCO brand and how to properly align and leverage its peace-related-topics-and-forums in the future.
Sakti also had the opportunity to attend Singapore’s Global Brand Forums (2003 and 2006) to listen to some of the most prominent figures in the brand and branding world. He is now a proud member of YEO, Young Entrepreneurs Organization Indonesia Chapter, where he had served as the learning chair and chapter president-elect. He is also one of the semifinalists of Ernst and Young’s The Young Entrepreneur Award 2004, the most prestigious entrepreneur competition in the world.
